Privacy policy

Version of 2026-10-18

Informative text describing how UMAN AUDIO works. It is pending review by a legal professional.

Controller

The controller of the data processed on this site is Adrián Izquierdo Quero (NIF 04273120L), owner of UMAN AUDIO. Contact for any privacy matter: [email protected].

What data we keep

E-mail, display name, profile photo if you upload one, password hashed with Argon2 (never in plain text), language, time zone and preferences; the files you upload and their results; daily use of each tool; open sessions (date, IP and browser) and a security log of sign-ins and account changes; your reviews, community messages, private messages, blocks and reports. In guest mode, usage is counted per network with an encrypted fingerprint of the IP, never the IP itself. For visitors of a portfolio or a private listening link only totals are kept (views and plays), with no personal data.

Why, and on what legal basis

To provide the service you ask for when you create your account (performance of a contract); to apply your plan limits, protect accounts, prevent abuse and moderate the community (legitimate interest); and to meet legal obligations. We do not sell data or use it for advertising or profiling.

Who sees what

What you publish in your portfolio and in the community (display name, photo, reviews and messages) is visible to other users or to anyone with the link. Your files, projects and private messages are visible only to you and, for messages, to the other person. The administration cannot read private conversations: it only sees the reported message and, when needed to resolve a report, the messages around it, and every such view is logged.

Providers

The site is hosted on UMAN AUDIO's own server. Traffic reaches it through Cloudflare (delivery and security network), which may process technical connection data such as the IP address, including outside the European Union, with the safeguards required by the GDPR. No third-party analytics or advertising tools are used.

Where it is stored

In the database and file storage of the UMAN AUDIO server, with regular backups. Private files are served only to their owner or through signed links that expire.

How long

Tracks you do not save in a project are deleted according to your plan (7 days on Free, 60 on Pro). Your projects, private listening links, portfolio and messages are kept until you delete them or close your account. Sessions expire after 30 days. Guest accounts are deleted when they expire. Backups are renewed in about two weeks.

Cookies

Only two first-party, technical cookies: the session cookie (needed to sign in) and the language you choose. There are no advertising, analytics or tracking cookies, so no consent is requested.

Your rights

You can access, correct and delete your data, ask for a copy to take to another service, and restrict or object to its processing. You can do much of this yourself in Settings; for the rest, write to [email protected] and we will reply within one month. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to your data protection authority (in Spain, the AEPD: www.aepd.es).

Minors

You must be at least 14 years old to use UMAN AUDIO. If we learn that an account belongs to someone younger, we will delete it.
